The recently-opened Basil Skin Spa is focused on giving you a one-on-one experience. Owners and skin estheticians Lavina Sippy, Nikita Aggarwal and Jennifer D’Souza make recommendations based on your skin type, and then perform all treatments personally using Thalgo products.

Basil’s four-member team is complete with body therapist, Sunita, who’s here fresh from Goa and not mobbed with appointments – yet. But one experience with her magical fingers and serene presence will have you hooked.

The scent of fragrant oils and soothing background chants fill this mini oasis of white and wicker, and set the mood for Basil’s facials, body scrubs and anti-ageing techniques. The chocolate fondue wrap has antioxidants recommended for brides-to-be, and the hot stone massage relaxes as heat is applied to all your pressure points, one by one.
