Kebabissh: A slice of Morocco

No epidural, doctors or nurses, but trendy hub Phoenix Mills has given birth yet again.

Congratulations. It’s a restaurant called Kebabissh, specialising in kebabs and succulent Peshawari and Arabic dishes.

You’ll be transported to sultry Morocco in their special section with low seating, a waterfall, sashaying curtains and brass plates on display. The rest of the wood and stone dining room is warm and spacious, and even has a private area for families with children.

We suggest ordering the Nizami Fish Fry of spicy, fried pomfret fillets in a Moroccan sauce, or the Hyderabadi Mushroom Masala and Raan Irani. From the Peshawari menu, go for the Nalli Nihari or baby leg of lamb cooked overnight in mutton stalk. Chef Sajid Khan also recommends the Paneer Ajwaini Tikka and Murg Kadar-e-Shaan.

Finish with Malai Firni and Shahi Tukda - it would be sinful to leave without trying them.

Still so new, but this baby’s really kicking.
