New Art Room showcases masters
Dark, brooding lines zig-zag the canvas, defining the grief and struggle of humanity. If you know your art, you know we’re talking about the late celebrated Kolkata-based painter Nikhil Biswas.

Starting this Saturday night, treat yourself to his classic black-and-white drawings at the inaugural exhibit at Art Room, Delhi in Sainik Farms. Capitalising on Biswas’s posthumous fame, Art Room will display 20 of his works.
The exhibit, Creuset / Melting Pot, will also feature paintings by well-known masters Manu Parekh, Jamini Roy, Prakash Karmakar, Jai Zharotia, as well as noteworthy works by other young national talent.

Word on the street is that fashion designer Rohit Bal (a good friend of gallery owner Rashmi Agarwal) will be there to help kick off the festivities. Proceeds will support Kriti, a non-profit organisation for health, education, environment and women’s welfare.
Delight in the mind-blowing array of thoughts, colours and styles on canvas, all under one roof.
