Handcrafted magic at Tribal Route

Look around. Most of what surrounds you is machine made – generic, mass produced and most likely owned by many others.

TribalRoute

If you crave the unique and lovingly handmade, chances are you will find it at Tribal Route. This brand new store houses carefully selected and handcrafted merchandise from artists and vendors across India.

You’ve probably never seen anything like Cinderella, The Princess, a white bust of a woman fashioned from stone ware. It’s one of the more expensive pieces, and a one-of-a-kind beauty.

Browse their full assortment of home décor items, art, artefacts and, best of all, fashion accessories, including embroidered shoes, embellished bags, and funky silver and terracotta jewellery. All priced cheaper than in most emporiums.

TribalRoute

The atmosphere is completely unlike a swanky store. Two 50-year-old cottages plonked in the middle of an open courtyard dotted with fruit trees. It’s the perfect place to unwind while you shop.

The owners soon plan to offer creative workshops at this inspirational hub.

May their tribe increase.
