Your world music fix comes to you starting tonight, when the Shalom Peace Concert kicks off three days of live performances at the lounge-restaurant, Laidbackwaters by Shalom.

After the success of their CD The Missing Peace, the first-of-its-kind Shalom Peace Concert brings together six international artists, plus Indian favourites, to perform musical interpretations of peace.

A mix of chill-out lounge sounds new and old on keyboards, laptops, flutes and Sarangi, the next two nights will feature performances by J. Viewz from Israel, Vishal Vaid from the US, and local groups Karsh Kale, Jalebee, Ma Faiza, and Midival Punditz. They’ll join in a combined show for the grand finale on Saturday.

Exclusive invites went out to Laidbackwaters’ usual Page 3 crowd, who’ll be there to mingle and enjoy the quality food, drink, conversation and relaxing tunes.

Shalom plans to host this event once a year, and their second CD of global lounge hits is in the works.

So stop all that travelling, sit back and let the music wash over you.

Shalom Peace Concert runs November 30, December 1 and December 2 at 10 pm. Laidbackwaters by Shalom, The Qutab Hotel, Shaheed Jeet Singh Road, New Delhi.
