Abstract Art by Jenny Bhat

Jenny Bhat's paintings

From your fire engine red stilettos that let you tower above the competition, to your fuchsia lipstick for a romantic evening – you know how to harness the energy of colour.

Artist Jenny Bhat’s paintings emphasise the power of her palette in vibrant yellows, pulsating reds and soothing blues. Her swirling creations are showing in an exhibition titled, Living Color, this week at the Museum Gallery. Or if you need time to recover from your New Year’s festivities, you can also catch it at the Cymroza Art Gallery in Breach Candy until January 21.

Bhat is as multi-faceted as her art. She has published nine children’s books, worked in advertising and auctioned off her work at Christie’s Art for Concern. The Indo-American Society honoured her with the Young Achiever of the Year award in 2005.
