Raseel Ansal's designs on Bangalore

If what Shakespeare said about all the world being a stage was true, home décor would be stuck at curtains and spotlights. Fortunately, at Paradox Black, they know time has moved on since the 16th century.

Paradox Black

Raseel Gujral and Naveen Ansal, Delhi’s first couple of design, believe the modern home has a place for drama and opulence. But they’re also aware of the current and the contemporary. No sterile Scandinavian lines here, the brand new store’s furniture philosophy is about the maximal, twisted with a subliminal Indian flavour.

Ice and copper do the tango. Ebony and ivory hit the right notes. Silver and gold lend the right touch of luxe. The palette is restricted, but the textures, designs and materials promise to bring every sophisticated interior to voluptuous life.

The most weathered timber, the rarest of semi-precious stones. The lushest silk, the richest velvet. Exaggerated patterns and exquisite craftsmanship. From the ‘Drama’ chairs to the dining table with the damask inlay, each piece of furniture has a story to tell.

Sometimes, the best exit lines are silent.
